C.L.E.E.T. ACCREDITED: This course qualifies for 8 hours of C.L.E.E.T. Accreditation for continuing education for Oklahoma LEOs

This 8 hour course is designed to teach the fundamentals of shooting along with advanced skills that teach you to be fast and accurate out of the holster to prepare you if you are fighting for your life seconds matter!

Students will learn:
Proper stance, sight alignment and proper grip. You will learn the proper grip to control recoil which allow you to shoot faster. Learn proper trigger control so you can shoot exactly where you are aiming from 5 yards to out past 50 yards.

Students will learn to draw fast and efficiently out of their holster to ensure combat accurate hits as fast as possible.

We will shoot drills that are fun, challenging and scenario based! This class is limited it 10 students so make sure to RSVP ASAP

Course Details: Defcon Defense Handgun 1 Course

• Participants will become familiar with the fundamentals of shooting.
• Participants will learn to safely and smoothly draw from holster.
• Participants will learn to quickly and efficiently reload.
• Participants will focus on stance, grip, sight, alignment & follow through.
• Participants will focus on trigger control & breathing control.
• Participants will focus on target transition, weapon manipulation & movement.
• 5-6 hours of "hands on" individual instruction is provided.

You will need

• Ear and Eye Protection
• 500 rounds of ammunition
• A quality mid-sized or full sized handgun (no pocket rockets)
• A quality hip holster
• A Good and Study (stiff) belt
• Sun Screen (we'll be in the sun for hours.)
• A comfy lawn chair
• Lunch Money
• Water and snacks. (There will be a lunch break)
