John is a very knowledgeable instructor, with his family background and childhood it is clear why. I have been around guns my entire life and just thought I was a good shot, John introduced me to a new grip for my pistol that really got me dialed in to my target and shrank my groupings considerably. John kept class interesting and fun therefore the time in class seemed to go fast. He uses several visual aids that really give a shooter (pro or novice) a great understanding of what he is trying to teach that one can actually use in the field. He was great at giving real life stories and situations on what should've, could've and was done in each situation along with the gun laws and why certain outcomes were reached. He recommends several books on gun laws, situations and overall knowledge to help people develop after his classes. John also shows and requests students to practice (safely) to familiarize themselves with their firearm. I highly recommend taking John's class to ERAN your license.
